REFRENDA PRESIDENTA DEL DIF, FERNANDA CASTILLO DE DEL MAZO, APOYO A SISTEMAS MUNICIPALES DIF

En compañía de Miguel Ángel Torres Cabello, Director General del DIFEM, la titular del organismo asistencial destacó que gracias a la vinculación de acciones entre los organismos estatal y municipales, los servicios de asistencia social se han mejorado y extendido, haciendo que niños, jóvenes, adultos mayores, mujeres y personas con discapacidad encuentren respuesta a sus peticiones a corto plazo.
“Hay mucho por hacer, pero tenemos todas las ganas, tenemos toda la responsabilidad y todo el motor y todo el corazón para seguir adelante, entonces las invito a que nos sumemos como amigas y como aliadas, y aliados todos, para sacar adelante a este precioso estado y dar lo mejor que tenemos todos y que se vea y que se sienta que el DIF está presente”, expresó.
Castillo de Del Mazo señaló que, gracias al apoyo de su esposo, el Gobernador Alfredo Del Mazo, se han podido reestructurar y ampliar programas, además de fortalecer obras que generan un impacto a toda la población mexiquense, ejemplo de ello, es la Procuraduría de Protección de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes.

Asimismo, precisó que la atención a los adultos mayores ha sido una acción prioritaria en esta administración, con la creación y equipamiento de Casas de Día, señalando que el reto es que al final de la administración cada uno de los 125 Sistemas Municipales DIF, cuente con al menos una.
Agregó que en beneficio de este sector y de las personas con discapacidad, durante este sexenio se otorgarán 100 mil ayudas funcionales que les permitan apoyar en su bienestar y en su economía familiar.
En cuanto a la atención a la discapacidad, la Presidenta Honoraria del DIFEM manifestó que se está haciendo un gran esfuerzo por reforzar y ampliar la infraestructura, muestra de ello fue la remodelación y equipamiento del Centro de Rehabilitación y Educación Especial de Toluca, pero la meta es construir tres centros más de este tipo que operarán en Tecámac, Chalco y Cuautitlán Izcalli, así como la edificación de Unidades de Rehabilitación e Integración Social y el equipamiento de Unidades Básicas.
“Sé que aún hay varios retos, es un reto enorme, un estado con muchísima necesidad, los retos son grandes, pero estoy segura que con el equipo de todos los 125 Presidentes y Presidentas de los Sistemas Municipales DIF y con el DIF Estado de México, vamos a lograr a ser un cambio y un impacto fuerte”, afirmó.
